A BUTLER resident is among 11 City of Wanneroo residents who will share in more than $15,000 of prizes for paying their rates on time.
Each year the city encourages residents to pay their rates on time to go in to the draw to win prizes, including travel and shopping packages valued at up to $5000.
Mayor Tracey Roberts said the Race in Your Rates competition was an opportunity to thank residents for paying their rates on time.
“This generates funds for capital works programs and critical infrastructure that will benefit not only the residents of today, but also those in the future,’’ she said.
