
TWO men have been remanded in custody to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on April 21 after a shooting in Carabooda last Thursday.
A WA Police spokesman said about 11.20pm on March 23 a woman was confronted by two men wearing balaclavas who allegedly forced their way into a home on Kiln Rd.
The spokesman said detectives would allege an altercation occurred between the men and the woman before one of the men assaulted her and shot her in the leg.
Both the men then left the residence but were found soon after in Tapping and were then arrested.
The 32-year-old woman received non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Royal Perth Hospital.
Joondalup detectives charged a 22-year old man of Karrinyup with assault with intent to rob, burglary, grievous bodily harm, possess a prohibited drug and wounding.
They charged a 35-year-old man from Heathridge with assault with intent to rob, burglary, grievous bodily harm and wounding.
Both men first appeared in Joondalup Magistrates Court on Friday, March 24.
