WHEN the Wanneroo Business Association holds a Casual Coffee Catch Up in Yanchep on Friday, August 5 physiotherapist Steve Holmes will be there.
Mr Holmes from Crest Health opened his business in the Yanchep Medical Centre in July last year.
He joined the Wanneroo Business Association to network with other small businesses and learn from them and to have a potential ‘voice’ through the association for providing healthcare services in the northern corridor.
Earlier this month Mr Holmes attended the business association’s free marketing event, run by Business Station advisor Daniel Devellerez, held at Clarkson Library.
“I met other business owners and employees and was able to share experiences of starting a business and understand what motivates others,’’ he said.
He is interested in other events or workshops about business development strategies and growth.
He specialises in musculoskeletal injuries and his passion is listening and engaging people and looking at how they move.
“I then correct this through a range of treatment techniques such as acupuncture or joint manipulation and love how patients return to their goals,’’ he said.
“I have worked across professional sport, private practice and more recently within Occupational Health and Workers compensation and have an excellent rate of managing workers compensation claims.’’
Wanneroo Business Association business liaison officer Lauren McGee said due to the success of the monthly Casual Coffee Catch Ups the association would like to run the event monthly in Yanchep Two Rocks.
