Cubby Town popular with children

Children used branches, wooden pallets and cardboard boxes to make cubby houses at Yanchep National Park during the Cubby Town event.

CHILDREN visited Yanchep National Park on Saturday, April 28 to build cubbies and forts, play with mud kitchens and create nature crafts.

They were also able to explore the park through an interactive scavenger hunt.

Organised by Nature Play WA the Cubby Town 2 event included representatives from St John Ambulance and early learning and play groups.

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, which manages the national park, allowed free entry for the day.
