THE disappointment was there for all to see as Who Dat Singa’s jockey Patrick Carbery realised the chance of winning the 2016 WATC Derby (2400m) had slipped away.

Carberry momentarily slumped on Who Dat Singa’s withers as Arcadia Dream with jockey William Pike on board surged past the tired gelding in the final seconds of the race on Saturday, April 16.

Just past the final turn Carbery and Who Dat Singa, who had been travelling in fourth place, took off for home.

With about 100m to go Arcadia Dream made her move showing her quick turn of foot to cross the finish line first.
