WARNING areas for the shires of Gingin and Dandaragan have been amended after a review of forecast conditions and fire activity.
At 10.05am the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) said forecast very hot, dry and windy conditions during the next two days would continue to test containment lines and potentially escalate fire behaviour.
DFES said warning areas would be subject to change at short notice and community members are urged to keep up to date.
Overnight the bushfire broke containment lines to the north of Regans Ford.
So far the Red Gully bushfire has 9900ha burnt.
A bushfire emergency warning is now in place for people in the area east of Indian Ocean Dr, south of Meadows Rd and Eniminga nature reserve, west of Eniminga nature reserve, south of Nammegarra Rd, west of Brand Hwy and Regans Ford, north of Orange Springs Rd and K.W. Rd, including Nilgen (Ocean Farms estate) and Karakin (Seaview Park), in the shires of Gingin and Dandaragan.
A bushfire watch and act is in place for people in or near the communities of Lancelin, Ledge Point and parts of Karakin, including the area bounded by the northern border of Nilgen nature reserve to the north, Indian Ocean Dr to the east, K.W. Rd to Orange Springs Rd to the north, west of Cowalla and north of Nabaroo and Bennies Rd in the shires of Gingin and Dandaragan.
A bushfire advice is in place for people in parts of Nilgen, Wedge Island, Mimegarra, Cooljarloo, Cataby, Yathroo, Red Gully, Regans Ford, Orange Springs, Moore River national park, Cowalla and Breton Bay in the shires of Gingin and Dandaragan.

At 11.02am DFES said the following roads are open:
- Brand Hwy.
- Indian Ocean Dr.
The following roads are closed:
- Mimegarra Rd at Brand Hwy.
- K.W. Rd at Indian Ocean Dr.
- Cowalla bridge at Orange Springs Rd.
- Orange Springs Rd at Brand Hwy.
- Access roads to Ocean Farms and Seaview Park remain closed.
