
RALLY driver Drew Nutton of Carramar is among the Quit Targa West competitors venturing onto the fast flowing roads of Lower Chittering and Bullsbrook for Shannons Leg 2 today.
Nutton , who is driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6, and the other competitors hope to cover 118km during the long stages.
But anything from bad weather to car breakdowns can happen along the way.
During the Malaga night stages on Thursday competitors had to cope with heavy downpours and a few had mechanical issues.
Spectators are welcome to view the action for free at the many spectator viewing locations. The 2016 Quit Targa West runs from August 11 to 14during which the 124 competitors will face 32 stages and 242km through Wanneroo, Malaga, Whiteman Park, Kalamunda, Toodyay, Lower Chittering, Bullsbrook, and Perth central business district.

Spectators can view the action from 1.50pm to 3.30pm in Lower Chittering (Maryville stage, from 3.30pm to 5.10pm in Bullsbrook and from 5.05pm to 7.30pm at Bullsbrook Service Park, Corvette Rd, Bullsbrook.
