AN Eglinton man has been charged after a man was assaulted in Joondalup on Friday, November 24.
A WA Police spokesman said about 10.40pm police received a report of a man being assaulted in the courtyard of a property on Lakeside Dr.
He said police attended and found a man with significant head injuries.
“The 29 year old man was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital and is in an induced coma,’’ he said.
A man and woman were apprehended at the scene.
Police charged a 28-year-old man of Eglinton with an act or omission causing bodily harm.
He was due to appear in the Perth Magistrate Court on Sunday, November 26.
The spokesman said the woman was assisting police with their inquiries.
