Entry in the State Register of Heritage Places recommended

THE Heritage Council has made a recommendation to the Heritage Minister that the Sun City precinct, Two Rocks should be entered in the State Register of Heritage Places.

When making the recommendation to Heritage Minister David Templeman on November 25 the Heritage Council said Sun City precinct, Two Rocks was of cultural significance pursuant to s.38(1) of the Heritage Act 2018 and made an important contribution to the understanding of heritage of Western Australia as detailed in the proposed statement of significance in the draft register.

The Heritage Council said the Sun City precinct, Two Rocks was bounded by Sovereign Dr, Lisford Ave, Jordan St and the Two Rocks marina sea walls and being resverve 51174 Lot 8796 on DP213230 being the land contained in LR3110/148, Lot 100 on D52187 being the land contained in CT 1685/950, Portion of Lot 800 on DP43879 being a portion of the land contained in CT 2687/805, portion of Lot 9702 on DP402964 being a portion of the land contained in CT 2948/663, Lot 10 on D77644 being the land contained in CT 1957/267, Lot 700 on DP4002964 being the land contained in CT 2948/662, Lot 701 on DP402964 being the land contained in LR3169/464 and all those portions of road reserve, including those known as Enterprise Ave and Azzura St as per HC curtilage map P26470-0.
