Fatal crash on Wanneroo Rd in Yanchep

A MAN has died after a crash on Wanneroo Rd in Yanchep early this morning.

WA Police said major crash investigation officers are investigating the fatal crash.

A police spokeswoman said about 12.45am, a black Volvo S40 sedan was travelling north along Wanneroo Rd, when just past the intersection of Lacey Rd in Carabooda, the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

The 19-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

Major crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
