FIREFIGHTERS were called to a structure fire in Yanchep earlier today.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) said they received a report of smoke coming from the roof of a house in Augusta Grove.
At 4.46pm a DFES spokesman said the fire, which had been contained to a fireplace, had been extinguished but there was still some smoke in the building.
He said two crews from Butler and two appliances from Yanchep had attended the fire, which was reported at 4.09pm.
