
FOOD trucks are back in Yanchep and Alkimos with the City of Wanneroo extending its trial until June.
The Wanneroo Street Food Facebook page said on Sunday, January 28 food trucks would be at Shorehaven Beach, Alkimos between 5pm to 9pm.
The food trucks include Porta Pizza, The Sweet Box Cart, Banana Leaf Modern Filipino Street Food Truck, BOBBY J’S funky retro food van, Big 5 Curry Den – Food Truck, The Wooden Box Cart and the Canuck Truck.
The day before Saturday, January 27 the food trucks expected to visit Fisherman’s Hollow included Uncle Chops Smokehouse, THE TAPI TRUCK, Shake, Waffle ‘n’ Roll, Tikka Tango, Halal Bros, Banana Leaf Modern Filipino Street Food Truck and Big 5 Curry Den – Food Truck.
Mick Marouff from Halal Bros said their food truck would be back in Yanchep next weekend.
On Friday, January 26 The Thirst Aid Stop, The Dirty Swine, Yum Food Truck, Big 5 Curry – Food Truck and Shiraz Soft Serve had said they would be at Fisherman’s Hollow.
City of Wanneroo deputy mayor Natalie Sangalli said she was thrilled to see the food trucks back in the city.
“We have already seen so many people out in the community, enjoying a wide array of food while socialising with their neighbours,” she said.
“It is wonderful that the community are enjoying their local parks and activating these spaces.”
