EGLINTON residents can attend a free host a free gardening workshop at Amberton on Saturday, 23 July.
The Great Gardens team, including founder Chris Ferreira, will be offering advice to all types of gardeners, from novices to green fingered experts, at the 11am to noon workshop at the Dale Alcock Homes display home on Charleston Road.
Free coffee will be provided at the workshop, with the Great Gardens team showing guests the latest in waterwise gardening, soil improvement, turf alternatives, mulching and irrigation systems.
Stockland general manager WA Col Dutton encouraged Amberton and Eglinton residents, who were interested in receiving handy gardening tips, to register for the event.
“This workshop on 23 July will be handy for anyone who is planning a new garden or just wanting to make improvements to an established garden,” he said.
“I would just advise anyone wanting to attend the workshop to RSVP via Stockland’s Link and Learn WA facebook page as numbers are limited.”

Mr Dutton said low maintenance garden designs were becoming increasingly popular.
“Many modern families don’t have a great deal of time to spend maintaining a garden so it makes sense to have a sustainable, outdoor space that is easy to care for.
