YANCHEP and Gingin businesses owners can take part in an eight-week skills development program starting on July 1.
The Plus Eight Sprint is a program where business owners can explore new ideas, learn new concepts and discover what opportunities are available for their business growth.
Matt and Gemma Taylor from PowerPlay Health and Fitness in Yanchep are keen to take part from an innovation perspective.
The Taylors started running the Yanchep gym on January 31 just before the pandemic started affecting Western Australian communities and businesses.
Mr Taylor said he was interested in the program anyway but Covid-19 had forced them to find new ways to add value for customers.
In order to keep supporting the entrepreneurial community as much as possible, the program will be running fully online and available to those living within the WA regions, including Gingin but also outer metropolitan suburbs such as Yanchep and Two Rocks.
The free program offers seven working sessions from Wednesday, July 1 at 4pm-6pm with facilitated workshops to explore a focus topic and apply new frameworks and ideas to help grow your business, talks with mentors and experts in which you get to hear firsthand their experience and advice and ask questions and connect to your own challenges, practical assignments and peer-to-peer check-ins to help you put in practice the learning in the real world and bounce the ideas leveraging the power of the group.
It also provides you access to an online platform with structured customised and curated content to boost your learning, a pitch and celebration night on August 19 as well as access to the Plus Eight Alumni program including a high-level network of founders and entrepreneurs who have been in your shoes and know your challenges and opportunities to attend exclusive Alumni events.
