OFFERING everything from trips to Yanchep National Park and Cockman House to a skateboard, scooter and BMX workshop at the new Banksia Grove skate park, the City of Wanneroo’s Easter school holiday program encourages learning and fosters fun.

In keeping with the spirit of the season, Arty Easter sessions at the city’s libraries are all about making Easter baskets and decorations.

Participants will be shown how to use paint and collage materials in these hands-on craft sessions on Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 24.

Meanwhile, activities at the Wanneroo Regional Museum will brandish a bright bumblebee theme.

From Saturday, April 13 to Sunday, April 28, the free all-ages activities will educate curious minds on how bees help the environment and the different uses of honey.

Storyteller and author Montgomery Kelly will host Musical Museum Tours at the Wanneroo Regional Museum on Wednesday, April 17 and Wednesday, April 24 , bringing to life the early history of Wanneroo through playful songs and poetry.

These free fun-filled family excursions encourage participation throughout, so come prepared to sing along.

For the more sport-inclined, Kingsway indoor stadium is running a series of school holiday camps, from tennis and netball to hip-hop and cheerleading classes.

Registrations are now open.
