GINGIN Police are seeking information from members of the public after a crash on Great Northern Hwy near Bindoon on Monday, January 1.

A WA Police spokesman said about 8.50am a purple Daihatsu Charade hatchback left the Great Northern Hwy near the Wandena Rd intersection, hit a tree and rolled onto its roof.

After the crash, which happened about 6km south of the Bindoon town site, a 32-year-old man was taken to St John of God Hospital in Midland with facial injuries.

Two children – a three-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy – who were in the car at the time were not injured.

He said police were investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
