GINGIN residents are being encouraged to take part in a community survey and let the Shire of Gingin know how they rate its services and facilities.
Shire President David Roe said the shire was conducting a community perceptions survey to determine community satisfaction with its services and facilities.
Cr Roe said the survey would also provide an opportunity for residents to have a say in areas they thought should be improved or changed.
“This survey is part of our continuing commitment to engage our community in decision making processes,” he said.
“We recognise the value in community consultation as we strive to make the Shire of Gingin a better place to live, work and visit, and this is an occasion where residents can supply their honest feedback anonymously.”
“We want to hear our community’s views and strongly encourage everyone in the Shire of Gingin to participate in the survey.
He said residents should have had a survey mailed to them and there would also be an on-line version to complete on the shire’s website if preferred.
The survey, which is open to Gingin residents 18 years and over, closes on Friday, July 29.
