HOMICIDE squad detectives are seeking information regarding the death of a 34-year-old man at a workshop in Gnangara on September 29.
Detective Senior Sergeant Keith Neubronner from the homicide squad said the shooting at the Sydney Rd premises appeared to be a targeted attack.
“Based on what we know so far it appears this incident was a targeted attack and while the offender is clearly a dangerous person there is no information to suggest nearby residents were in any direct danger,’’ he said.
“As our investigation continues we believe information from the community could provide us with a key piece of the investigation puzzle and we ask anyone who has information or camera vision that could assist with this investigation to make contact with us.”
Police were called to the Sydney Rd premises about 4pm.
St John Ambulance personnel also attended and it was confirmed the man had died.
A police spokesman said his injuries were consistent with being shot with a firearm.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
