Good turn out for Two Rocks breakfast

THE Yanchep Two Rocks Community Recreation Association served 507 breakfasts at the Australia Day Breakfast at the Phil Renkin Community Centre on Friday morning.

Association president Julie Otremba said Pat Reid of Two Rocks was awarded citizen of the year, group of the year was the Yanchep Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, youth achiever of the year awards were given to Harm Bastick of Two Rocks and Ajay McCarthy of Woodbridge, who goes to scholl in Two Rocks, plays football for the Yanchep Red Hawks and is a Yanchep Dolphins Little Athletics member.
Outstanding achievement medallions went to Two Rocks residents to Wendy Noone and Mel Glover.

Australia Day certificates were presented to Chris Young from IGA Two Rocks, Sharon Marsahll and Thomas Fisher.
Mrs Otremba said Yanchep Dolphin Little Athletics and Two Rocks Yanchep Emergency Scouts members all pitched in to help the community celebrate Australia Day.

Two Rocks Playgroup had a children’s table with playdough and colouring-in, while the older children went on the bouncy castle,  music dome and the kidz kartz.

She said Pete Robson sang some great songs.

She also thanked Yanchep Sun City Pty Ltd for supporting the event.
