A MAN died and another man was injured in a crash on Military Rd in the locality of Yeal in the Shire of Gingin on Friday, July 8.
WA Police said it was believed a Nissan Murano being driven by a 76-year-old man was travelling south on Military Rd about 12.55pm.
They believed a Suzuki motorcycle was at the same time being ridden north on the same road.
The two vehicles collided about 1km south of the Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory turn-off.
The police spokesman said the 53-year-old male rider of the Suzuki motorcycle died at the scene.
The 76-year-old male driver of the Nissan was taken to Joondalup Health Campus for treatment of his injuries.
This afternoon a Joondalup Health Campus spokesman said the man had been released from hospital.
