Large animal rescue course in May

As well as offering training for owners and veterinarians the large animal rescue course also trains emergency response services personnel.

IF you are an owner, a veterinarian or part of a team called on to respond when a bull or a horse is trapped in a boggy hole then this course is designed for you.

The Horse Council of WA, in conjunction with the SES mounted section and the Office of Emergency Management, are sponsoring a two day Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue Masterclass to be held on May 1-2.

Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue offers training for emergency response services, such as fire departments, rescue squads, law enforcement agencies, emergency management, county and state emergency response teams and animal control officers.

The Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue courses are structured to educate even those who are not usual members of a branch of emergency services, such as veterinarians, large animal facility operators, animal rescue organisations, large animal transporters, and large animal owners.
