MAJOR crash investigators have charged a 30-year-old Singleton man after the death of a Lennard Brook man in Muchea on Thursday, May 5.
A WA Police spokeswoman said after investigating police will allege that the Singleton man was heading north on Brand Hwy about 5am in a Toyota Landcruiser while a Lennard Brook man driving a Mitsubishi was travelling south when the two vehicles collided.
The Mitsubishi driver a 38-year man from Lennard Brook, who was on his way to work at Tronox’s Chandala site, received life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.
The Singleton man received minor injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
He has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death and is due to appear in the Moora Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 3.
