
JOONDALUP detectives have charged a 35-year-old man after a series of burglaries in Butler on Saturday, July 8.
WA Police allege between 3.50am and 4.30am the man attempted to gain entry into numerous homes in the area.
A police spokeswoman said officers also alleged he forced entry into a few houses while residents were at home.
The Quinns Rock man was charged with three counts of home burglary with intent and one count each of attempted armed robbery, criminal damage, burglary and commit, stealing, without lawful excuse trespassed on a place and giving false personal details to police.
He was due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today Sunday, July 9.
The spokeswoman said inquiries were continuing and detectives wanted anyone in the area of Sanderstead Loop and Rosegreen Ave who have CCTV cameras to check if they recorded any suspicious persons in the area between 4.20am and 7.20am on Saturday, July 8.
“They are also asking anyone who has located a black hooded jacket or sneakers discarded in the same area to contact them.’’
