MAJOR crash investigation officers have charged 21-year-old man following their investigation into the death of man in bushland off Sovereign Dr, Two Rocks on January 11.
WA Police said the 21-year-old Tapping man had been charged with manslaughter, driver failing to stop and ensure assistance after an incident occasioning death and driver failing to report an incident occasioning death.
He is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on Wednesday, February 24.
Early on January 12 police were called to bushland off Sovereign Dr where a 42-year-old homeless man, who is believed to have been sleeping in the dunes, was found on a dirt track.
St John Ambulance provided treatment to the man but he died at the scene.
