A TWO Rocks man was due to appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court on Monday, October 26 after a fatal accident last month.
Major crash officers charged the Two Rocks man after the crash, which occurred at 7.05pm on Friday, September 25 on Two Rocks Rd in Two Rocks.
A WA Police spokeswoman said the crash happened when a white Ford Falcon sedan travelling north collided with a silver Holden Astra travelling south about 500m south of Montebello Boulevard.
A 20-year-old male of Two Rocks, who was a passenger in the Ford Falcon, died at the scene from injuries he received in the crash.
Another 20-year-old male of Two Rocks, who was a passenger in the vehicle, received minor injuries.
The driver of the Holden Astra, a 23-year-old woman of Dunsborough, was taken by ambulance to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The 40-year-old driver of the Ford Falcon suffered critical injuries and was taken to Joondalup Health Campus for treatment.
The 40-year-old man was later charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, and no authority to drive (Court suspended licence).
She said further charges could follow pending further inquiries.
