A MAN was taken by RAC Rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital after a tractor rollover on Cheriton Rd in Ginginup on Friday morning.

On Sunday, October 28 at 4.45pm a Royal Perth Hospital spokesman said the man had been discharged from hospital.

On Friday, October 26 at 8.23am the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) sent out an alert saying the RAC Rescue helicopter was on its way to the accident.

The DFES alert said the accident happened on Cheriton Rd, near the intersection of Whakea Rd in Ginginup, north of Gingin.

In another alert at 10.52am DFES said career and volunteer fire and rescue service firefighters had helped free the man who was trapped underneath the tractor.

The emergency rescue helicopter had already arrived at the hospital before the second alert was sent out.
