Man taken to RPH after motorcycle accident

THE RAC Rescue helicopter has taken a man to Royal Perth Hospital after an accident in Lancelin earlier today.

The helicopter landed at RPH at 1.10pm.

About 2pm Lancelin Police tweeted that Lancelin St John WA volunteers and the RAC Rescue helicopter assisted a 19-year-old male injured in a motorcycle incident on the beach between Lancelin and Ledge Point today.

“Fortunately, his injuries are not life threatening,’’ they tweeted.

The RAC Rescue helicopters are sponsored by RAC, funded by the state government and managed by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES).
