A MAN who went missing in Yanchep on Wednesday evening was found the next morning by a member of the public in the sand dunes area near Lookout Dr.
On Thursday morning as WA Police were preparing to hold a press conference to provide an update about missing man Octavio Saric they were notified a member of the public had spotted an elderly man in the sand dunes.
A police spokesman said officers went to the area and confirmed the elderly man was Mr Saric, who had last been seen about 5.15pm in the vicinity of the Yanchep Community Pharmacy near Marmion Ave.
He said as Mr Saric had been missing overnight, St John Ambulance would attend to check his condition.
When Mr Saric went missing family and police were very concerned as he has advanced dementia.
