A MAN, missing since Monday afternoon, visited a hardware store on Stevenage St and a service station on Yanchep Beach Rd, according to WA Police.
A police spokesman said Brock Hewitt went to the hardware store about 4.45pm on Monday, January 7.
“A short time later, about 4.50pm, he was seen at a service station on Yanchep Beach Rd in Yanchep,’’ the spokesman said.
“Upon leaving the service station, he travelled in an easterly direction towards the intersection of Indian Ocean Dr-Wanneroo Rd.
“This is now the last confirmed sighting of Mr Hewitt and his vehicle a white 2014 Nissan Navara utility (with a canopy), registration 1GDR 069.
Mr Hewitt had also been sighted in a retail store in Butler about 4.30pm on the same day.
In an earlier statement a police spokeswoman said Mr Hewitt was an avid fisherman and was proficient at living off the land and four-wheel driving.
Mr Hewitt is described as being light skinned, of a slim build, 175cm tall, with short dark hair and ‘Hewitt’ tattooed on his left arm.
He was last seen wearing a singlet, shorts and thongs.
Police and Mr Hewitt’s family have concerns for his welfare.
