BUSINESS owners from Yanchep and surrounding areas can sample some locally made goodies at a networking event at the Y.hub on Tuesday, October 13.
At the event Moshmi Madhoo who owns Cakes & Treats by Moshmi will provide morning tea and also share her business story.
Once a month BusinessPLUS Morning Tea Network Locally Yanchep hosted by business consultant Lisa Byfield meets at the Y.hub at 128 Yanchep Beach Rd.
Lisa Byfield said the BusinessPLUS community started in Mindarie more than two years ago so that local businesses could get together in a casual environment to get to know one another.
She said City of Wanneroo councillor Lewis Flood had supported the events from the start.
“People do business with people they know, like and trust and so traditional networking groups don’t provide the opportunity for people to connect at a deeper level,’’ she said.
“The BusinessPLUS groups provide a framework where people can come together and really get to know one another.
“The Yanchep meeting is on the second Tuesday of each month and the venue is provided courtesy of Y.hub Yanchep Coworking space where Natalie Carter the manager provides the coffee.”
She said Mindarie BusinessPLUS was on the last Friday of each month where attendees enjoyed the hospitality of the Union Kitchen who provided a special coffee and cake for local business owners.
