A BUSHFIRE, which burnt 10ha of land in Neerabup yesterday was suspicious or deliberately lit, according to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
An all clear was given at 8.30am on Monday, February 12 with the department saying the bushfire had been extinguished but people in the area still needed to remain vigilant in case things changed.
Firefighters will be patrolling the area for the rest of the day.
The bushfire started near the intersection of Flynn Dr and Mather Dr in Neerabup.
There are now no roads closed in the area and Flynn Dr between Mathers Dr and the Wanneroo Golf Club has reopened.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) said the bushfire was reported at 4.50pm on Sunday, February 11.
At 7.31pm on Sunday DFES said an extra 20 firefighters had joined the 30 career, volunteer fire and rescue service and bush fire service firefighters who were sent to the tackle the bushfire when it was first reported.
