YANCHEP and Two Rocks residents can now access City of Wanneroo services closer to home, with the wraps officially coming off the City’s new ‘YTRAC’ office on Wednesday, February 6.
A key piece of the City of Wanneroo’s wider plan for the Yanchep and Two Rocks area, YTRAC is situated at 128 Yanchep Beach Rd, Yanchep.
Open to the public on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30am to 4pm (or by appointment), YTRAC will operate as a satellite City office, providing a range of services to local residents in a convenient location.
Services such as planning and building surveying are available at YTRAC, allowing local residents to submit applications or pose queries regarding development approvals without having to drive to the Wanneroo Civic Centre.
The facility will also act as northern corridor headquarters for a range of other services such as Rangers and Parks and Conservation.
City of Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts will hold regular ‘meet the Mayor’ meetings at YTRAC, which she says will afford Yanchep and Two Rocks residents the opportunity to engage in local issues in a friendly setting.
“The City of Wanneroo is working with residents in Yanchep and Two Rocks to understand what matters to them; we want to discover what they feel makes the area special,” she said.
