CONSTRUCTION of a new $3 million child care centre, which will cater for 100 children, has started in Two Rocks.
Cuddles Childcare Group is seeking expressions of interest from parents with young children in the Two Rocks area for places at its new Cuddles Childcare Centre, which will open at Atlantis Beach estate later this year.
Two Rocks and Yanchep residents interested in working at the new child care centre are also been invited to send expressions of interest to the company.
Construction is expected to be completed by the final quarter of 2018.
The new childcare centre is on the corner of Mayflower Pde and Breakwater Dr, opposite the Atlantis Beach Baptist College, and has street frontage to the major traffic route between Two Rocks and Wanneroo Rd.
Cuddles Childcare Group is a medium-sized family-owned business, which already operates four child care centres in Perth.
It caters to children up to 12-years-old, offering half and long day care, casual care, before and after school care, as well as vacation care.
The company established 23 years ago by Gerard Carver is now managed by his son Cliff.
Cliff Carver said the company took a focused and conservative approach to developing its child care business.
“We decided to purchase this development site at Atlantis Beach because of its prime high visible location in the heart of the social hub for the community and the fact that the area is primed for major population growth over the coming years, mainly driven by young families who will require a service such as ours,’’ he said.
“We engaged the expertise of Macri Architects to design our new child care centre which will set new standards in Western Australia for its environmentally friendly features such as using specially planted mature trees for canopy cover.
