PARTS of Gnangara Moore State Forest and Yanchep National Park will be closed for four days due to the risk of fire.
On Tuesday, January 24 the Department of Parks and Wildlife said the areas in the City of Wanneroo and Shire of Gingin would be closed due to an Advice Fire Danger Rating forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology for the Perth metropolitan area and surrounds.
The department said the Pinjar off road vehicle area and the Gnangara off road vehicle area in the Gnangara Moore State Forest as well as the Cockatoo, Yanchep Rose and Ghost House long walk trails in Yanchep National Park would be closed from 8am Wednesday, January 25 to 8am Sunday, January 29.
People are urged to avoid the areas, follow the advice of Parks and Wildlife staff and observe signage.
