Passenger dies after all-terrain vehicle crash in Beermullah

WA Police have confirmed the 19-year-old male passenger of an all-terrain vehicle involved in a crash in Beermullah on the weekend died in hospital this morning.

A police spokesman said Gingin Police were investigating the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash, which happened in the Shire of Gingin on Saturday, June 13.

“About 7.30pm, emergency services responded to reports of a crash involving an ATV and a kangaroo at a property on Ferguson Rd.

“The 19-year-old male passenger of the ATV was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital, where he received medical treatment for critical injuries sustained.

“Sadly, he died in hospital this morning Wednesday, June 17.

“The driver of the ATV was not injured.”

The spokesman said a report would be prepared for the coroner.
