
A BUSHFIRE advice remains in place for west of Perry Rd and east of Old Yanchep Rd in the northern parts of Pinjar.
Just before 4pm on Sunday, March 25 the Department of Fire and Emergency Services said there was no threat to lives or homes.
But as there was a lot of smoke in the area people needed to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changed.
The bushfire started near the intersection of Old Yanchep Rd and Nisa Rd, has burnt 60ha of land and is still being monitored by firefighters.
Firefighters are monitoring the bushfire, which is being managed by the City of Wanneroo.
The cause of the bushfire – reported at 12.05pm on Friday, March 23 is unknown.
