AN application for a proposed expansion of the Yanchep Central Shopping Centre on Peony Blvd is available for public comment until Friday, August 27.
The application proposes to develop the southern portion of the Yanchep Central Shopping Centre, which is currently vacant.
The proposal comprises the following
- Coles supermarket as well as a click and collect pick-up area;
- Eight specialty retail tenancies adjacent to Peony Blvd to accommodate food and beverage and retail-based uses;
- Childcare centre in the north-eastern portion of the development area;
- Medical centre in the southern portion of the development area;
- Liquor store integrated with the Coles supermarket;
- 7-11 service station in the north-western corner of the development area, adjacent to Marmion Ave and Peony Blvd
- Two take-away food outlets adjacent to Marmion Ave; and
- Associated access, car parking and landscaping, including upgrades to Peony Blvd.
