TRAINER Ashley Maley of Lancelin says Push to Pass, who won the Schweppes Handicap (1500m) on Saturday, October 29, will be set for another Ascot race soon.

But yesterday Maley said he and the six-year-old’s co-owner were still to decide, which weekend they would target.

Of his other starters Red Publisher finished 10-12 in the Stone Motherless After The Races Handicap (1100m) and Pelican Pick was fifth in the Heineken Plate (1000m).

In recent starts Push to Pass finished first on Sunday, October 16 in a 1400m race in Geraldton and prior to that was third at Belmont on Saturday, May 21.

Meanwhile, for Muchea trainer Alan Mathews, Pounamu tied for second place with Star Exhibit in the Champion Fillies Day – Nov 12 Handicap (1600m) and Indi Pacific was third in the Schweppes Handicap behind Push to Pass and Someone One Day.
