GINGIN Police are seeking information about batteries stolen from an RAAF landing system situated at Beermullah.

This system is used by RAAF pilots to assist in landing and is necessary for safe flight operations.

Any one with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online 

The close-by Beermullah airstrip was used by a PC9 pilot from Pearce air base for an emergency landing in November 2017.

The 1500m wide Beermullah airfield was built in January 1944 as an additional airstrip during World War II.
