AN RAC Rescue helicopter has taken a patient to Jandakot airport following a rollover in Lancelin.

An alert from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) about 5pm said the RAC Rescue helicopter had been expected to land at Jandakot airport at 5pm.

The patient will then be transported to Royal Perth Hospital.

An earlier alert from DFES at 3.10pm said the RAC Rescue helicopter had been sent to Lancelin.

The RAC Rescue helicopters are sponsored by RAC, funded by the state government and managed by the DFES.
