TWO RAC Rescue helicopters have been sent to a crash involving a car and a bus on Indian Ocean Dr, 30km north of Lancelin, in Cooljarloo.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said career and volunteer fire and rescue service firefighters were at the scene and were working to free the person who was trapped.
WA Police said due to the serious traffic crash Indian Ocean Dr was closed to all traffic in both directions with the closures in place between Gingin Brook Rd and Meadows Rd and affecting all the traffic on Indian Ocean Dr.
A police spokesman said there was limited information about the matter but early reports were that the incident involved a crash between a 4WD towing a caravan and a bus carrying passengers but it was still to be confirmed.
