
YANCHEP Red Hawks are wearing pink for the Pull on your socks fundraiser to raise money to support breast care nurses to be held on Saturday, July 7.
The club is asking supporters to wear some pink for the event.
The fundraiser in support of the McGrath Foundation will be held at Yanchep Active Open Space, Marmion Ave, from 1pm to 5pm.
There will be guest speakers, raffles and mini-auctions on the day.

With an estimated 49 people diagnosed with breast cancer each day, the McGrath Foundation needs support to help make life that little bit easier for people going through breast cancer.
The foundation funds 119 McGrath breast care nurses in communities across Australia, wherever they are needed.
Since 2005, 60,000 families have been supported by one the foundation’s nurses.

The foundation has six dedicated metastatic McGrath breast care nurses but all of the foundation’s nurses provide support for all stages of breast cancer – from early through to metastatic.

Cancer Council Australia statistics show 50 people are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer every day in Australia in 2018, every year 148 men are diagnosed with breast cancer and one in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 85.
