STRIKE force vulcan officers are investigating after a scrub fire that happened about 4pm, near the Yanchep skate park on Wednesday, December 31.
The fire started in vegetation on Splendid Ave and Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended and extinguished the fire before it could spread further into park land.
WA Police said several people were in the area at the time the fire started and investigators urge anyone with any information relating to the fire, to contact Crime Stoppers online or call 1800 333 000.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
