THE festive spirit is in full swing at Ocean Keys Shopping Centre with a range of free family activities across December raising funds for the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, kicking off with Santa’s arrival on Saturday, November 25.
A shopping centre spokeswoman said every weekend in the lead up to Christmas there would be roving entertainers, carollers, musicians and dancers.
When children get their photo taken with Santa $1 from every photo package is donated to the CREATE Foundation, which is the national consumer body representing the voices of children and young people with an out-of-home care experience (including kinship care, foster care and residential care).
Children can also post letter a letter to Santa at the North Pole via the Santa Mail letterbox, with every child penning a note to old Saint Nick (with a return address) receiving a letter back.
The Santa Mail letterbox runs until Tuesday, December 19.
The Kids Club Xmas Party on Sunday, December 3 which is sold out sold out) is holding a kids Christmas Party with morning tea followed by a fun-filled musical show with Santa and the ever popular Cheeky Elf.
This exclusive event is all in the name of raising funds for the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation and is open to ticket holders only.
On Monday, December 6 the shopping centre is holding a Sensitive Santa Evening for 6pm for families who have children with disabilities to have their photo taken with Santa.
