Spider’s Web production cancelled

Yanchep plasterer Chris Kennedy was to play Oliver Costello in a production of Agatha Christie’s Spider’s Web but the show has been cancelled.

THIS week Yanchep plasterer Chris Kennedy was due to deliver a unique blend of suspense and humour in an Agatha Christie play parodying the detective thriller genre.

But on Sunday, March 15 the organisers contacted Yanchep News Online to say the comedy due to play at the Old Mill Theatre on March 18, 19, 20, 21, 25 26, 27 and 28 with a 2pm matinee March 22 has been cancelled.

In the play Kennedy was to play Oliver Costello.

After taking acting classes in 2017, Kennedy dove headfirst into auditioning for everything he could and has since appeared with Stirling, Garrick and Limelight Theatres and Life on Hold Productions in ’Allo ’Allo!, Beyond A Joke, Fairytale of Sorts, A Clockwork Orange and Lady Willpower.
