Two men charged by Taskforce Mirzam with additional offences were due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 18.

TASKFORCE Mirzam detectives have charged two men with 101 additional offences as a result of their ongoing and extensive investigation into child sexual abuse.

A WA Police spokeswoman said a 45-year-old man had been charged with 79 offences and the 56-year-old man has been charged with a total of 22 offences.

The spokeswoman said police will allege that between 2001 and 2006 the 45-year-old man sexually assaulted his two biological daughters.  She said both daughters were four years old at the time of the first offence.

He has been charged with two counts of a sexual relationship with a child and two counts of indecently dealing with a child under 13 years.

“It will be further alleged between 2011 and 2015 the 45-year-old man sexually assaulted his stepdaughter and stepson who were aged between five and six at the time of the first offence.

He has been charged with 65 offences relating to his stepchildren.  The charges are 41 counts of indecent dealings with a child-lineal relative, 14 counts of sexual penetration of a child-lineal relative, four counts of stupefying in order to commit an indictable offence, three counts of encouraging child sexual behaviour, two counts of failing to protect a child and one count of persistent sexual conduct.

“It is also alleged in 2011, the 45-year-old man sexually assaulted a young girl who was 14-years-old at the time of the first offence.

He has been charged with four counts of sexual penetration of a child over 13 years and under 16 years of age, four counts of indecent dealings with a child over 13 years and under 16 years of age and two counts of stupefying in order to commit an indictable offence.

She said police will allege between 2011 and 2015, a 56-year-old man sexually assaulted a girl and boy who were aged five and six at the time of the first offence.

He has been charged with 15 counts of indecent dealing with a child under 13 years, five counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13 years, one count of persistent sexual conduct and one count of stupefying in order to commit an indictable offence.

Both men were due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 18.

Taskforce Mirzam detectives have also charged a 39-year-old woman with 93 offences as part of their investigation after the discovery of videos showing men and women engaging in sexual acts with an eight-year-old girl.
