A THIRD person has been charged over an assault in Alkimos earlier this year.
Joondalup detectives have charged a 33-year-old man as a result of their investigation after the assault on Sunday, 22 January.
WA Police have alleged three people entered a home in Malleefowl Way, Alkimos and assaulted a 21 year old man who lived there.
A police spokeswoman said the victim received serious injuries to his hand and back.
The 33-year-old man from Maddington was charged with aggravated burglary and commit, aggravated armed assault with intent to rob, grievous bodily harm, act or omission causing bodily harm, possession of a prohibited drug (methylamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on Monday, June 12.
Detectives have previously charged a 28-year-old Gosnells man and a 20-year-old Kingsley woman in relation to the assault.
