Three die in Yanchep crash

A TWO Rocks woman is dead and her injured son in hospital after a head-on crash on Two Rocks Rd on Sunday, March 6.
Two Nollamara men also died in the fatal crash, which was about 1km north of the Club Capricorn entry and just south of the Yanchep and Two Rocks local government boundary.
WA Police said the accident happened about 9pm when a beige Hyundai Sonata sedan travelling south on Two Rocks Rd, Yanchep, overtook a silver Holden Rodeo utility also travelling south.
While overtaking, the Hyundai collided head on with a pink Mitsubishi Mirage travelling north on Two Rocks Road.
The driver of the Mitsubishi Mirage was a 47-year-old Two Rocks woman.
Her 17-year-old son who was a passenger in the vehicle was taken to Joondalup Health campus.
The 24-year-old Hyundai driver and his 30-year-old front passenger both of Nollamara died as a result of the crash.
The back seat passengers – a 25-year-old Nollamara man , a 25-year-old woman of an unknown address and a 23-year-old woman also of an unknown address were taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
The RAC Rescue helicopter took a man and a woman to Royal Perth Hospital after the crash.
A Department of Fire and Emergency alert said the emergency rescue helicopter had been expected to land at the hospital about 11pm.
Two occupants in the Holden Rodeo were uninjured.
