Dear Yanchep News Online,

TRYACT is pleased to reassure the community and your readers that our volunteer transport service continues to provide essential transport for cancer patients living in Yanchep and Two Rocks, helping them attend life-saving medical appointments.

Our service is made possible by a dedicated team of volunteers who generously give their time as drivers, transport coordinators and fundraising volunteers at local market stalls.

Like many community organisations, TRYACT has been affected by rising fuel prices, increasing insurance and vehicle maintenance costs, and the ongoing challenge of recruiting and retaining volunteers.

We are delighted to announce that our recent grant application to Villa Dalmacia Association community grant program was successful.

We are sincerely grateful for their incredible generosity and support.

This funding will help cover essential operating costs including fuel, insurance, vehicle maintenance, volunteer police clearances, training and a volunteer appreciation event.

While this generous grant provides valuable support, TRYACT relies on the ongoing generosity of our community to continue this vital service.

We are always looking for new volunteer drivers and people willing to assist with fundraising.

Donations of any size are also greatly appreciated and help ensure local cancer patients can continue accessing the transport they need.

On behalf of TRYACT, I extend our heartfelt thanks to Villa Dalmacia Association, our wonderful volunteers, supporters and donors.

Together, we are ensuring that no one in Yanchep or Two Rocks has to face the journey to cancer treatment alone.

If you want to contact TRYACT for more information or to volunteer call 0414 702 726 or email tryact1@gmail.com
