THE Two Rocks marina has a new team of experienced operators managing the boat lifting and hardstand area, headed by marina manager Mick Bowra from Two Rocks Boat Lifters.
Mr Bowra said Two Rocks Boat Lifters offered a professional service and interest in the marina appeared to have increased lately.
The Department of Transport-operated marina has long been home to commercial fishing but with the urban sprawl spreading along the coastline more recreational boats are using the marina for their maintenance, taking advantage of the cheaper rates and personal service.
Two Rocks Boat Lifters provide an efficient boat lifting facility with a large, well organised hard-stand area where vessel owners can work on their boats and use their own insurance approved tradesmen.
With a long-standing passion for boating and the open water Mr Bowra said he was motivated to increase business and provide good old fashioned service.
“We take a lot of pride in the way the marina looks and conducts its business,’’ he said.
“We’ve had a big clean up, we’re proactive with environmental waste and my staff all have a can do attitude.
“Boat owners who come to Two Rocks can expect service with a smile.
“We’re happy to help wherever possible to make their experience a good one.”
Two Rocks Boat Lifters can now accommodate trailer boats.
With small block sizes becoming an issue with parking, boat owners can store their boats at the marina in a secure complex right next to the boat ramp.
